The most beautiful adventure playgrounds in Munich!
Our kids love adventure playgrounds, so we’re always looking for new playgrounds for kids. What could be better than watching your own children, how they shape their own games and how they can work out, play new roles and just have fun. What luck that there are some of these adventure playgrounds in Munich. In the following selection finds beautifully designed playgrounds in the most beautiful city.
Playing in the woods – adventure playground munich
Thanks to the tip of a dear friend, we can present the forest playground in Pöring! The huge area of the playground offers the children many opportunities to play in very different ways. The playground equipment are perfect for small and large climbers to challenge their coordination skills. At the football wall is a highlight for all future football pros. Children who enjoy playing in nature also have the opportunity to explore the forest life. For the little ones there is a small slide, a playhouse, a sandpit and tire swings.
Kronepark – Playground in Munich
The Nockherberg in Munich is immediately connected to the annual Starkbierfest and the well known Paulaner Brewery. But there is so much more to discover. At Kronepark, which belongs to the Nockherberg, there is a great children’s play area surrounded by green fields and trees. We particularly like the play equipment for all age groups and plenty of space to run around. The fascination of all Kids, is of course the water pump. In addition, there are many different climbing frames, a small house with a slide for toddlers and baby swings. For big kids there are ping pong tables and a football field.
Beerencafé – Playground in Munich
At Beerencafé (berry café) you can spend wonderful hours with your children. It offers so much more than freshly harvested berries. It’s not just a café, as the name suggests. Here you will be offered breakfast, small lunches and delicious cakes. Fresh berries play the main role in all dishes.
Additionally there are many things for children to discover. The Bobbycar course is the hit even for the younger ones. The older ones love hiding in the straw labyrinth. There is also a small petting zoo, where the animals may be fed. The large tractor made of wood is a climbing attraction and there are also many more small wooden tractors.
Josephsplatz – adventure playground Munich
The playground on Josephsplatz is a highlight of the outdoor playgrounds in Munich. The play and climbing opportunities are well thought out and require the kids to show all their motor skills. In addition to the toddler area with nest swing, climbing frame and slide, there is an extra area for children over 3 years with age-appropriate toys. Every Tuesday there is a great weekly market on the Josephsplatz (from 13:00 to about 17:00 clock) with many local stalls. Everything is there, flowers, organic vegetables, different fruit, fish meat, and more. A stop here is worthwhile. Why not treat yourself to a nice piece of cake.
Olympiaberg – Adventure playground Munich
The adventure playground on the hill of the Olympic mountain is particularly loved by children because of the unusual play equipment. A tree house with a very long slide, the wobbling bridges or the wooden boat to conquer the oceans, the children enjoy the game! If you follow the trail through the bushes, you reach another part of the playground with the gigantic sparkling hemisphere, which children can even climb on. This playground is for older children. The adventure playground is surrounded by trees and expansive meadows. This pleases not only us, but for children very well.
Wiener Platz – Adventure playground Munich
This spacious playground is located next to Wiener Platz in the family-friendly Haidhausen district of Munich. Here the city seems far away. The playground is also suitable for the little ones; they even have a baby swing. In addition, there is a slide, seesaws and small houses for role-playing games. In summer, the large green area within the fenced playground can be used for a generous family picnic.
Schliersbergalm – Adventure playground close to Munich
When hiking with children, it is always good to have a kid’s friendly location at your final destination. The hike to Schliegsbergalm has this. The hike is child-friendly, runs along the road only at the lower part and has an achievable length of one hour.
Once at the top there is the purest Eldorado for kids. Not only that the Schliersbergalm has a great playground on the edge of the forest, where the slide goes long between the trees. But there are several large children’s trampolines with a wonderful panorama over the Schliersee. There’s also the Alpenexpress. It is great fun especially for the kids.
