The best destination when hiking with children above the Schliersee!
When hiking with children, it is always good to have a kid’s friendly location at your final destination. The hike to Schliegsbergalm has this. The hike is child-friendly, runs along the road only at the lower part and has an achievable length of one hour.
Once at the top there is the purest Eldorado for kids. Not only that the Schliersbergalm has a great playground on the edge of the forest, where the slide goes long between the trees. But there are several large children’s trampolines with a wonderful panorama over the Schliersee. There’s also the Alpenexpress. It is great fun especially for the kids. It goes over the hilly terrain in front of the Schliersbergalm a round up and down. It is also fun to takte the summer toboggan run down. Adults love it and bigger kids too. If you have small kids than take a combo ride with them. You can also take a cable car down. So this place is also stroller friendly.
In terms of food, you can either take a seat on the terrace in the restaurant or you can choose the beer garden area and grab your own snack or get something from the grill.
Since the parking is limited, it is worthwhile to be there early. Or you choose the train that lets you out almost at the starting point.
For the many children’s attractions you should have a little change ready, since only the playground is not charged.
