A charming family nest for vacations in Allgäu with kids!
The family-run B&B in Unterallgäu proves that the most beautiful places are sometimes very close by. The old farmhouse was lavishly renovated by Julia and her husband and has since been considered a true dream place for relaxation-seeking families in the Allgäu with kids. The charm and the signature of the old farmhouse were preserved and harmoniously combined with hip furnishings.
Three different rooms are each a jewel in itself. It is the small details that fill each room with a very warm and authenntic coziness. There is room for an extra bed in each of the three bedrooms. So every family member, no matter how small, gets a really cozy place to sleep.
The highlight in d’Kammer is the daily breakfast. We all agreed that Julia deserves several stars for this. Because every morning she conjures up homemade delicacies on the breakfast table. She gives free rein to her creativity and passion. It is particularly important to her that the ingredients come from the region. She knows exactly who produces the cheese, where the eggs come from and what makes the coffee roasted in the Allgäu so special. Breakfast is optional, but this feast guarantees a successful start to the day and no one should miss it.
Kids feel right at home in d’Kammer. A small playground, wooden horses and pedal tractors wait outside the door for their use. There is even a workshop for handicrafts and crafts. The river Iller is only a stone’s throw away and maybe even the sheep on the neighboring meadow are there.
Directly in front of d’Kammer the first discoveries for the Allgäu with kids are already waiting. It’s worth taking a look at Julia’s book with lovingly compiled excursion destinations and tips for the surrounding area. Regardless of the season and weather, families can enjoy their vacation in and around d’Kammer according to their needs.
In the evening parents can enjoy a glass of wine from the Honesty Bar, in good weather on the roof terrace of the bicycle cellar, while the kids are already happily slumbering in their beds. Or you can end the evening at the campfire with stick bread. It could hardly be more cozy!
