Enjoy cake like from grandma in a cozy living room atmosphere!

Relaxed drinking cappuccino and eating cake in a café with kids in Munich. This works especially well at Café Kuchentratsch directly opposite the Bavaria. Because here you can look forward to a nice family break between comfortable velvet sofas and a large play corner.

What makes Kuchentratsch so special: For many years, the social bakery Kuchentratsch has been firmly rooted in Munich. Grandmas and grandpas bake the most delicious cakes according to their recipes. This automatically puts them in touch with more people and helps them supplement their pensions.

Every day, they conjure up a wide variety of cake creations, from chocolate cake to carrot muffins, but they all have one thing in common: they taste heavenly good. This is certainly true since the cake bakers have so much fun and put their heart and soul into their work in the bakery. By the way, you can watch them in the mornings and, especially for little kids, it’s a great cinema what happens behind the glass panes.

It’s good to know that you can always find a parking space on Theresienhöhe (unless the Wiesn is in full swing). You can also reach the café in no time by subway.

In the summer months, the kids in the Munich café have, in addition to the play corner, the terrace in front of the Kuchentratsch, where they can run around freely. That’s because it’s conveniently located quite a bit away from the nearest street.

An extra tip: The grandmas and grandpas of the bakery can also conjure up a suitable cake for the next children’s birthday party, which will then be delivered directly to your home. Here you can see directly what cakes are available for the little sweet tooth and save time in preparing for the birthday.
