Fancy playground at Mirabell Palace
Of course, Mozart’s birthplace should not lack a playground for one of his most famous compositions. The so called Magic Flute Playground in the Mirabell Gardens is located next to the walls of the castle. The high and long slide is the centerpiece of the playground. To reach it, kids have to climb up the triangular tower.
A music game to jump around is another highlight. Many swings, also an extra one for toddlers, a sandpit and a carousel are also part of the playground. For infants, there is also an age-appropriate climbing frame.
After playing, the children will be particularly pleased to go through a mysterious tunnel in the castle wall. You will land right in the Mirabell Garden.
The Dwarf Garden, which is right next to the playground, is worth a visit. Fairy tale figures out of stone are waiting.
A visit to the playground offers itself as compensation for the sightseeing. From Mirabell Garden the view of the surrounding mountains is very nice.
