The hike to the Feldlahnalm with children is definitely not boring. The entire route runs along the Hammergraben. That means continuous rushing water in the ears. The Hammergraben is very interesting for kids. The water gushes at the small waterfalls, elsewhere you can descend and splash in the water with your hands or even climb a bit on the large stones in the stream. There is definitely plenty of variety to keep the little hikers happy.
Although the route is only 3 km long, it is steeply uphill and a krax is advantageous for smaller children. This hike with children is highly recommended, especially on warm summer days, as it runs mostly in the shade.
When it comes to the last curve, you can already see the traditional Feldlahnalm. The little hikers are greeted by donkeys and goats, which belong to the Alm’s own petting zoo, when they arrive. There is also a spacious playground with a tractor, sandpit and hammock. But the ambience on the alpine pasture is not just great for the children. The typical Bavarian snack, soups and homemade cakes taste particularly delicious after the ascent.
It goes down three times as fast as up and after a brisk walk you can reach the Hammergraben car park in just a few minutes.
