Waterfalls, animals and a cottage paradise for kids!
The ascent on the Kids hiking trail Chiemgau to the Feldlahnalm will definitely not be boring. The entire route runs along the Hammergraben. That means the continuous sound of water and happy splashing in your ears. The Hammergraben arouses immense interest among the kids. At the small waterfalls the water just bubbles, elsewhere you can go down and splash with your hands in the water or even climb a bit on the big stones in the stream. Variety to keep the little hikers happy is definitely on offer.
Although the route is only 3 km long, it is steeply uphill and for smaller kids a Kraxe is advantageous. Especially on warm summer days, this hike is highly recommended with kids, as it is mostly in the shade.
If you go around the last bend, you can already see the traditional Feldlahnalm. The little hikers are greeted upon arrival on the Kids hiking trail Chiemgau directly by donkeys and goats, which belong to the Alm’s own petting zoo. In addition, there is a spacious playground with tractor, sandbox and a hammock. But not only for the kids the ambience on the Alm is right. The typical Bavarian snack, soups and homemade cakes taste especially delicious after the ascent.
Down it goes then three times as fast as up and after a brisk walk on the Kids hiking trail Chiemgau already the parking lot Hammergraben.
