The park Jardin de La Fontaine in Nimes dates back to the 17th century, the Tower called Tour Magne is in the park and is even older.
The hike up to see the Tour Magne is worth it. The path upwards passes ancient Roman water basins, the beautifully landscaped botanical gardens and sculptures. Like this you keep kids well entertained. There is something new to discover on every corner for kids. Small bridges are crossed, tunnels discovered, flower meadows and the large goldfish admired in the pond.
If you arrive at the top, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the city. The Tour Magne arouses the curiosity of the whole family. Looking at the tower and puzzling how people managed to build it without any machinery at that. .
