The short but beautiful hiking trail to the alp Siebenhütten is ideal for a family hike. From the parking lot follow the sign to Siebenhütten. You walk over bridges, past forests and always along the river Hofbauernweissachbach.

During the hike the children can climb small paths down to the river again and again. This is exactly the kind of variety and entertainment that motivates kids to keep up the hike. After about 1 hour (with plenty of breaks at the water) you reach the alpine hut Siebenhütten. There are simple Bavarian food and cake. Of course, the coffee from Dinzler should not be missing.

On a small mountain, the children can climb over rocks and roots if patience is not enough until the food comes.

There are two options for the way back. Either you take the trail suitable for pushchairs back to Kreuth or choose with slightly larger children (from 3 years) the route over the circular route. We chose the latter one and were delighted with the path that leads through the forest and past the ducal pisciculture. Especially the children have collected abundant autumn treasures there.
