Lets discover the witch’s house!
Wow, Mom! Can we live here?” the kids exclaimed as we stood in front of the new Gans Woanders in Munich. A blend of treehouse and witch’s cottage, it brings children’s dreams to life. With its quirky angles, narrow staircases, and antique furnishings, it feels like a fairy tale come true.
The wooden house has undergone extensive renovations over the past few weeks. A former kiosk has been transformed into a new cultural café in the heart of the Au district. Admission to all cultural events (including family-friendly ones) is free, and Gans Woanders has firmly opposed any obligation to consume while there.
We couldn’t resist the fabulous vegan carrot cake, especially when enjoyed on the spacious terrace. The kids have a blast at lunchtime with freshly made rosemary fries. In the evening, delicious pizzas from the in-house pizza oven are also available.
Choosing a place to sit can be a delightful challenge for the kids, with something to discover at every corner. On the terrace, you’re seated among the treetops, and inside, you can cozy up on comfortable sofas by the fireplace.
We love Gans Woanders. It’s a place where every family member feels instantly at home. “Can I have some more, please!
