After breakfast we drive into Palma at a relaxed pace. The view of the wide bay as you approach the city from the southeast is always a small wow moment.
Our trusted starting point for the day is the parking garage at Plaça de la Feixina. It is centrally located between the old town and Santa Catalina, making it easy to explore Palma on foot.
From here we head straight toward Passeig del Born, one of the most elegant promenades in the city. Instead of staying on the main shopping street, we usually turn into the small side streets on purpose. This is where Palma shows its relaxed, almost village like character, and where many of the most charming little shops are hidden.

While we enjoy our ice cream, our eyes naturally drift toward the impressive Llotja dels Mercaders, a Gothic building from the fifteenth century. This small square combines food and culture in a very effortless way and is one of those moments when Palma feels especially charming.
Playground Highlight: Parc de Sa Feixina
After so much time in the old town comes the part of the day most kids look forward to the most: playground time.
On the way to Santa Catalina you will pass Parc de Sa Feixina, home to one of the largest playgrounds in Palma.
The highlight is a set of three large climbing towers with slides and nets, offering plenty of space for kids to run around and play.
On weekends the park becomes even livelier, with trampolines and a small carousel often set up nearby.
