A wonderful place for families is the Snap Café in the second district of Ho Chi Minh City. It’s not just a café with extremely good coffee and delicious cakes. Even those who are more hungry will find some healthy and nursing dishes. The kids menu is outstanding: They don’t have just a couple of creative, healthy kids dishes, they also have an extra menu for teens.
Additionally a great outdoor area belongs to the café. Sitting under umbrellas and thus well protected from the sun, you can watch your kids playing. They love the huge sandpit area. The fine sand (not very often on Vietnam’s playgrounds) reminds you of your last holidays at the beach. On hot days, the kids enjoy playing with the waterhole.
Inside the café you should stop by at the library. Taking the time for getting lost in looking for the next book makes so much fun! And no matter if child or adult, the fresh ice cream which is offerer in the beautifully converted Tuktuk wagon tastes great. If you like, you can even take a seat inside the old Tuktuk.
In any case, you should take some time to explore the surrounding area of the Snap Café. You will find a beautiful store with children’s clothing, a store with interior for children’s rooms and a shop with high-quality children’s toys. And for the moms there is a nice store with pretty clothes and shoes.
This favorite place was discovered by Steffi during her big Asia trip with her family. She shares more of her travel impressions on her blog. Also for Laos, Cambodia and Thailand she shared with us her favorite places for families!
