No winter without a happy toboggan ride and no summer without a family hike!
The climb to the rustic Gleirsch Alm is particularly family-friendly. Why? Because you have already reached your destination after a short climb of approx. 1.6 km. There is a large playground along the way. The ascent and descent are not on the same path. You don’t have to keep an eye out for tobogganing every minute in winter. So you can climb comfortably with children and without stress. The path leads through a small section of forest that invites you to play. Once at the top, you can look forward to the upcoming meal by looking at the map of the Gleirsch Alm. At lunchtime there is Tyrolean cuisine and in the afternoon the finest cakes. On the large sun terrace, which is open in winter and summer, you have a good view of the children in the playground. It goes down pretty quickly. But you can stop again and again and make a stop at the playground. There are approximately 70 parking spaces in the car park. They can quickly become scarce on public holidays. Don’t forget the small change, because the parking fee of 4 euros per day can only be paid in cash. Unfortunately, you cannot rent toboggans on site.
