Exploring Berlin with kids – Insider tips from our local mate Jenny

H A L L O from Berlin!

I am Jenny and I live with my family in Berlin. We are two adults and two little ones, one little one is a girl and the other little one is a boy. As it is common in Berlin, we ride our bikes a lot, take the subway, the S-Bahn and of course double-decker buses are our favorite. What we like about Berlin is that there are so many museums, parks, bridges and water. Actually, you never have to think too much about what to do on the weekend, there is always enough to do.

Despite the big wide city, life in the old-established neighborhood is characterized by short distances: the daycare center next to the music school, almost on the way to the elementary school of the schoolchild. Since we two adults are both from Berlin, the kids’ grandmas and grandpas also come from Berlin and enjoy the weekly grandparent time.

I, the mom, am an avid amateur photographer, coffee drinker, procastinarian, museum permanent visitor and literature fanatic. Likewise, I could spend all day at weekly markets and flower stores.

All this connects me with my friend Elena – and because we didn’t want to keep our interests for words, writing and visual language so unused in countless voicemails from the public, we founded our small agency Digitalisierbar. Here we can live out our preferences for copywriting and photography in a very extroverted way.
