Breathe deeply in the French city park!
One place you should definitely discover in Paris with children is the Jardin du Luxembourg. This park is like immersing yourself in authentic and somewhat more relaxed Paris. On the large green areas you can picnic, make yourself comfortable on the well-known green chairs or watch the small boats on the pond in front of the Palais du Luxembourg. In between, food trucks find their place and bake fresh crepes and waffles, for example.
More France is not possible: puppet theater, carousel and Co
The play and fun offer for children is exceptionally large. French story classics are played in the puppet theater. Even if you don’t understand French, it’s worth a visit to see the handmade dolls and backdrops. A nostalgic carousel makes its rounds and the children are allowed to collect rings with a stick.
We love spending a whole afternoon in the park. It’s the perfect destination to get some rest after sightseeing and keep the kids happy with fun and games. The pros bring baguettes and wine.
Around-the-corner tip: Just a few meters from the Jardin du Luxembourg is the Georgette restaurant. With kids you are welcome and within minutes a dish that tastes children is conjured up in the kitchen.
