Hand on heart, such a short vacation without kids aka mommy time out is so good! Just turn your back on everyday life, mountains of laundry and lunch boxes and instead dive into a wellness hotel in South Tyrol surrounded by vineyards and orchards.

We have found a refuge for you whose endearing charm will immediately put you into relaxation mode. You’ll be surrounded by creative energy, daily powerful yoga classes, delicious slow food and a stylish ambiance!

Sounds tempting? Then read all about the Hotel Schwarzschmied in South Tyrol, a real heartfelt recommendation for your next mommy break.

There I was allowed to make it the first time without my family vacation for 3 days. Although, that’s not quite true. Although my husband and kids were at home, instead my two sisters and parents came along. They were so excited about the Schwarzschmied and have also booked a room without further ado.

This is what awaits you at the Schwarzschmied – the design hotel for all generations in Lana.

Nestled in the mountains of South Tyrol and yet very close to the historic village center of Lana with its small cafes, lies the Hotel Schwarzschmied. Klaus Dissertori, who runs the house in the second generation, has made small renovations to the house in recent years, combining tradition and modernity under one roof. Thus, the aesthetic inspiration meets the ecological demand and urban lifestyle holds hands with sustainability and South Tyrolean authenticity. This pleases old and young, big and small.

Immediately upon entering the house through the large outdoor terrace with a view of the village church and the vineyards, the vacation feeling of mommy time-out sets in. Any stress simply stays outside.

Coziness to the tips of the rooms in the mama time out.

The nearly 70 rooms at the Schwarzschmied are kept in simple design, soft colors and natural materials. At the same time, everything has been thought of. You can play music through the Marshall speakers (there’s an in-house playlist on Spotify for that – it’s also a hit for a quick relax at home), while you enjoy the view on the balcony. Especially in the morning, the mountain view feels like a dream, when the mist slowly rises from the woods and the birds in the garden are already chirping. It is precisely such quiet moments that are particularly worth savoring during mommy time out.

If you like to conquer the mountains yourself, you will find a hiking backpack hanging on the coat rack. Further down you will find suitable hiking tours for your mommy time out.

Pure relaxation with wellness food, in the spa and with yoga.

Recharge your batteries, it’s a breeze in the Schwarzschmied’s wellness area. On the first floor, there is both an indoor and outdoor pool. There is also a steam bath and two saunas. One of them is located in the middle of the greenery. There you can make yourself comfortable on the loungers with a good book. The light-flooded relaxation rooms are just as inviting. When it’s uncomfortable outside, you’ll be warm and fuzzy in front of the crackling fireplace.

Special to the hotel is the Susanne Kaufmann Spa with its brand-new treatment cabins. It’s best to book the soothing massages and treatments as soon as you arrive.

The daily yoga classes are free of charge for guests and help to strengthen the connection to yourself and nature. Experienced yoga instructors provide valuable impulses for your mommy time-out – sometimes they even take you for a walk in the forest to roll out the yoga mats together. Participation is highly recommended!

Indulgence program with slow food around the clock!

What ends up on the table at the in-house restaurant is a real treat from morning to night. The philosophy of slow food has been cultivated and lived for years. In addition to quality and freshness, the regional origin of the food is an important feature of the Slow Food cuisine. Fruits and vegetables come from our own historic black farm garden with the associated Arnica field. You can also visit it. It is located less than 300 meters from the hotel. Every day, freshly harvested vegetables and herbs are prepared for a journey into the culinary world. We have rarely eaten so well in a hotel!
