Tasty refreshment on a beach day with kids!
What can be done better in Cuxhaven than to show the kids the sea and above all the mud?! A walk through the mud flats is great fun for the whole family and especially the kids. Usually after such an intensive walk the whole family is hungry.
A great place is the restaurant Leuchtfeuer. It is located directly at the see on the sand dunes. You can watch the ocean and enjoy their great food. They have a big variety, from local fish dishes to a classic burger. Everything is prepared in the open kitchen. Also highly recommended are the cakes. Although some of the cake pieces are more for the sailor hunger, but they taste great!
Both inside and outside on the terrace there are a few tables where you can also find a place with a stroller. Several children’s high chairs are available. There is also a good winding opportunity here.
