Amazing Family time in Zurich with children!

We have a new Local Mate. Simone lives in Zurich and she is our local ally. She shares 100% of our taste for favorite places. The whole family should enjoy their time together. Simone has a good sense and knows where the favorite places in her hometown are hidden. As always, only the spots that convince us become part of the urban kids and make it onto our platform.

Hoi, I’m Simone!

We, my husband, our seven year old son and I live in Zurich. I love our hometown because of its diversity, the metropolitan feeling and character, the great cultural offer, the history that shapes the city and the friendly people around. On a walk through Zurich, the beautiful, time-honored buildings, the abundance of water (beautiful fountains with drinking water, Lake Zurich, the Limmat) and the diverse culinary offer are immediately apparent. The Uetliberg, with a beautiful mountain view, brings the direct access to nature.

We live in the family-friendly district Schwamendingen, also called Garden City, close to nature just below the forest. There is our popular recreational area with views over Schwamendingen, Glattal and with a clear view to Säntis. Also our favorite restaurant Ziegelhütte is located just next to it. It is a nice, child-friendly restaurant with a large playground.
