See view from the beautiful city Massa Marittima!
The medieval town of Massa Marittima is a good destination for a half-day excursion or transit. Located on top of the hill, the historic center with its imposing medieval buildings around Piazza Garibaldi fascinates. Kids can run around freely, because most of the old town is car free. Home-made ice cream is best enjoyed at Café Le Logge. Also, a look in the idyllic side streets and in the cathedral should not be missed.

Delicious pizza and a fantastic view over the country side up to the sea, by the way, are available in the restaurant La Mura. But the ambiance insight did not convince us.
