Varied hike with kids at Schliersee, fun for everyone!
The lake circuit at Schliersee with its accompanying tree adventure trail, exercise course, a wonderful alpine inn and a gigantic playground as a reward at the end of the hike is a highlight among the family hikes at Schliersee. The circular trail of 8 km around the lake can be covered even with a stroller.
The hike starts at the parking lot of the Schliersee train station. From there it goes down to the lake. From here you keep to the right and walk towards the western shore of the lake. After about 20 minutes, the first signs of the tree experience path become visible and the stations of the movement course are also not long in coming. A barefoot path, a forest xylophone and inviting wooden loungers make you want to take a short break. The last meters to the Rixner Alm are child’s play.
With panoramic views of the mountains and Schliersee, you can enjoy fine soups, Bavarian home cooking and very tasty cakes at the Rixner Alm. Next to is a large meadow, so the kids have enough space.
Well fortified, the family hike around Schliersee with kids continues. On the south shore pretty fishermen’s cottages are waiting. The next piece runs close to the road, here a little caution is advised. As soon as the village of Schliersee comes into view again, the kids look forward to the playground. It is large and with climbing elements, slides, swings and Co. a playground dream. Here the afternoon can still end comfortably, before it goes back to the car.
