Location

Gästehaus Grundlers is nestled in the heart of Bavaria’s Fünfseenland region, just steps away from Lake Wörth. This stunning turquoise lake is ideal for family vacations, with shallow waters and idyllic bathing spots complete with kiosks and playgrounds. The region is a year-round destination, attracting families with its variety of activities, including bike tours, mountain excursions, visits to nearby lakes, and day trips to Munich. No matter the season, there’s always something to enjoy.

Room

In close cooperation with an ambitious team of architects from South Tyrol, Christina and Paul have paid special attention to every corner of the house and, in our opinion, deserved at least one design award. Large windows, lots of light, calm colors and harmonious shapes – each of the quarters immediately solves an authentic home feeling. Here you just like to spend time and the children are happy about the cool loft bed that they find in their small room.

Meat & Eat

The heart of the guest house is the common room “Meet & Eat”, which is located on the ground floor of the house. Here is not only cooked, but also an extensive breakfast. The long table invites you to family encounters and exchange with other guests, which makes a unique contribution to the homely atmosphere on a family holiday. Each quarter in the Meat & Eat has its own hob, refrigerator and a pantry. What an ingenious concept! Basics such as pasta and organic tomato sauce can also be taken directly from the shelf.

Garden

The garden of the guest house Grundlers am Wörthsee is another idyllic retreat. Away from the house there is a small workshop for holiday courses as well as a boules court, which is very well received by all family members. In the summer months, the spacious terrace invites you to dine in the open air and spend the warm days in a relaxed atmosphere. For all those who are looking for peace and quiet, the garden is the perfect environment to relax with a book, whether alone or accompanied by the kids.
