Bonus Tip: Eibsee – Bavaria’s Maldives for the Whole Family
Crystal-clear, turquoise water with the Zugspitze as a backdrop – Eibsee truly feels like a vacation getaway! The loop trail around the lake starts at the Zugspitzbahn parking lot and takes you on a 7 km walk along the water’s edge. Whether you go clockwise or not – the views are spectacular either way. We followed the sun and soaked up every minute.
Tip: It gets busy on weekends, so if you can, visit during the week for a more peaceful nature experience.
