Family Paradise Rittisberg: Where children and beginners fall in love with skiing

Rittisberg is one of those small, perfectly curated ski areas for children and beginners that families dream of when they want a relaxed day on skis or a snowboard. Youโll meet almost exclusively other families here, and itโs easy to keep children of different skill levels happy under one roof.
The Fairy Tale Trail winds gently down the mountain, with story stations along the way where fairy tales are read aloud. It gives kids a new little goal to look forward to with every turn. And thanks to Kali, the resortโs mascot, there are plenty of themed adventure slopes that make skiing even more exciting. Confident young skiers can let off steam on the more challenging runs.
When itโs time for a break, the mountain hut at the top station is the perfect spot to stop for food. Right outside the door, an adventure playground is already waiting โ making it just as fun for kids off the slopes as on them.
By the way, thereโs plenty more to discover on Rittisberg than just skiing. You can cross-country ski all the way around the mountain, go night tobogganing, enjoy winter hikes, head out on a ski tour โ and even race down the slope on a Zipfelbob. Itโs the perfect little change of pace and a fun contrast to a ski area thatโs otherwise ideal for children and beginners.
If youโre planning to spend your entire day on Rittisberg, you can opt for a reduced ticket instead of buying the full Ski Amadรฉ pass.
Especially for families staying in Ramsau, Rittisberg is a wonderful place to ease into skiing. From our family favourite, the Hotel Matschner, itโs just a few minutes up the mountain โ making for a relaxed start to the ski day.
