At Urban Nature in St. Peter-Ording, the wild beauty of the Wadden Sea is combined with a cool, urban style. Location

The Urban Nature is located directly on the dike, just a few steps from the jetty into the National Park. Just around the corner, the entrance to the National Park opens up a fascinating world of dunes and mudflats – and with the guest card, admission is even free. Guests also use the local bus free of charge, and the nearest train station is easily accessible on foot through a small, fragrant pine forest. While the little ones are off playing on the playground in front of the house, you can enjoy the fresh North Sea air with a great view from the terrace.

So invitingly designed with natural materials and a design that captures the colours and shapes of the coastal landscape that you simply love to enjoy in this favourite place. Many rooms offer a magnificent view over the dunes and the Wadden Sea, which creates a magical play with colours and vastness. For families there are spacious rooms with space for extra beds or a exhausible sofa. You decide for yourself what suits you best. Good to know: water boiler and a coffee machine are part of every room.

Culinary

For the breakfast at Urban Nature you like to leave the warm bed. Fresh bread, homemade muesli, warm egg dishes or even a typical Nordic red grits as well as an autumnal plum crumble invite you to start the day with pleasure. high chairs are ready for the little guests – so the whole family can feast in peace. The coffee machine with oat milk gets an extra plus point!

In the evening, the Restaurant Auntie Clara pampers with fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative, varied dishes. From coastal specialties to refined plant-based delicacies from around the world. And the Rooftop Bar Scraper’s Club? The perfect place to end the day with a drink at sunset over the North Sea.

For the kids

At Urban Nature, kids are not just guests – they are a natural part of the whole. A playground awaits right outside the door, which invites you to romp and discover and the brand new adventure house with giant slide is only a short walk away – without busy roads. In addition, there is the “play corner” in the hotel bar, which is far more than the name suggests: under a rustic wooden superstructure, kids can tinker with a large table, play and let their imagination run wild. And not infrequently you will also find one or the other adult who gets lost there for a creative break.

Even away from the play corner, there is space everywhere for the little guests: Be it on the roof terrace, during a relaxed breakfast in the restaurant or when the DJ hungs up in the evening – kids are welcome in this beautiful place and feel it too.

Wellness

The wellness area known as the “Liple Cloud Realm” of Urban Nature is an oasis of peace and relaxation – ideal for those looking for warmth and relaxation after a long walk on the beach. With a view of the Wadden Sea, you can simply switch off completely in the sauna or in one of the cosy hammocks in the relaxation room. A fitness room and a roof terrace are also part of the self-care club.
