Step into La Ferme aux Crocodiles and your adventure begins right away: warm, humid air greets you — and right in the middle of it all lies a crocodile. Huge. Still. Real.
A place that sparks wonder in kids — and amazes grown-ups just as much. Open year-round, no matter the weather, this giant tropical hall is home to over 1,200 fascinating animals.
Europe’s Largest Reptile Park – with Over 400 Crocodiles
Inside, it feels warm, lush and a little like the Amazon: 8,000 m² of tropical space with palm trees, water streams, little bridges, parrots calling — and crocodiles. Big ones, small ones, grey, almost white. Some nap on the rocks, others glide silently through the water.
You’ll also meet albino alligators, gharials, giant tortoises, lizards, snakes, and exotic fish — creatures you’d usually only see in books.
Learning Through Play and Discovery
You can simply wander through the hall and take it all in — or grab a Discovery Pass and go stamp-hunting at interactive stations that make the world of reptiles fun and engaging.
Especially cool: the nursery with real crocodile eggs, the “River Monsters” trail featuring life-size prehistoric creatures like the Titanoboa, and the daily feedings and mini-workshops. Without even noticing, kids (and parents!) learn loads about conservation and animal behaviour.
Outdoor Play, Picnic & Pause
Right next to the tropical hall you’ll find a spacious outdoor area with a playground, picnic tables, and a small petting area with goats. It’s the perfect spot to take a break — the kids can run around while the grown-ups grab a coffee or an ice cream.
Good to know: the whole park is fully accessible, with changing tables, a covered picnic zone, and plenty of shaded spots — great for families with little ones or strollers.
