Delicious fish and the beautiful scenery of Rovinj!
We have quickly taken the Maestral into our hearts. The fresh fish is prepared here delicious Mediterranean has inspired us. The children especially loved the homemade pasta and also some fish. In addition, there is also homemade pizza. The quality of the fish here is so good that we also dared to try the raw fish variations. They are a delight and highly recommended.
But what is at least as good as the fish is the view of the backdrop of Rovinj. It is especially beautiful at sunset, because the sun sets exactly on the opposite side. So you can enjoy the last rays of the day on the terrace of the Maestral. But also at noon the Maestral is a good place to go. It is often easier to get a table there. In the evening it is advisable to make a reservation.
The terrace is located directly on the water, which is all the more beautiful for the atmosphere. With children, however, we usually preferred a table in the second or third row. That was more relaxed for us. There are also extra high chairs for smaller children. The entire staff is very child-friendly and quite straightforward, even when it comes to children sharing a dish, for example.
We are already looking forward to our next visit to Rovinj, where a meal at Maestral will definitely be included.
