When it comes to a delicious lunch in a mountain hut we can’t resist! On the Stögeralm there is not only what is probably the best duck in the entire Schliersee but also an incredibly expansive view of the Schliersee.

Almost idyllic you can sit on the few tables on the terrace and marvel at the Schliersee in all its splendor. There is no playground for the children, but that hardly matters, because there is so much to discover around the Alm itself.

Seasonal specialties can be found on a small menu. Make sure you leave space for a Kaiserschmarren, it’s homemade and really delicious.

A visit to the Stögeralm can be easily combined with a short hike to the Josefstal waterfalls.
