Since 2025, the hotel has been welcoming guests in a comprehensively renovated building dating back to the 1970s. Today, it presents itself as a young beach hotel with a Northern German signature. It is operated by the Northern German hotel group HIIVE, known for modern, design conscious concepts along the coast.
Location
Langeoog is part of the Wadden Sea and is completely car free. Instead of traffic noise, the soundscape is shaped by wind, bicycle bells, and the waves.
The hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, the village center, and the train station. With children, this is a noticeable advantage, as beach bags, balance bikes, and spontaneous ice cream stops can be combined with ease. Within the hotel, there is a small play corner as well as a house library with books and games. In the restaurant, children remain comfortably within view. The concept particularly appeals to families who value shared time in a calm, stylish setting and do not need constant entertainment.

The Wellbee Spa forms a calm counterpoint to the wind and vastness outside. Several saunas, relaxation areas, foot baths, and massage and cosmetic treatments create a clearly structured retreat. Between 10 am and 12 pm, children are welcome in the Wellbee. This allows families to enjoy the spa together before it shifts to a quiet, adults focused atmosphere from midday onward.

At the in house Bistro Salty, the atmosphere is Nordic, seasonal, and pleasantly uncomplicated. The kitchen focuses on carefully selected regional products and presents them with a clear concept and modern lightness. Fish with a coastal connection, fresh vegetables, and finely balanced dishes reflect an honest, contemporary signature. The commitment to quality and thoughtful selection is already evident at breakfast.
