But even in bad weather, the Gipfelhaus is a great destination for families. They have a playroom for children in the basement with climbing cave, toys and books.
From Klagenfurt you are at Magdalensberg in about 25 minutes by car. Depending on your hiking ambitions, there are different parking options on the way uphill. And numerous parking spaces are available at the top of the Gipfelhaus. Whether with or without hiking Magdalensberg is a great family destination in Carinthia.
