A family trip to the Elbe that feels like a short vacation with the family!
Sometimes it is these places that you discover by chance during a walk and directly become your favorite place. That’s what happened with the Elbe camp. The Falkensteiner Ufer is worth a visit on its own. But with the Elbecamp including the Bistro Lüküs, you have the ideal place to spend a vacation day with your kids.
Actually, the Elbecamp is a camping site. But in the Bistro Lüküs all are welcome. Bistro, beer benches, children’s tables, high chairs, hammocks, playground – everything seems a bit wildly thrown together and thus gives a wonderful trace of adventure.
Sand is not only found at the playground, but simply everywhere. It goes seamlessly from the playground down to the Elbe beach. On the beach, you have a direct view of the thick ships sailing out of Hamburg. When the tide is out, the kids love to dig in the mud. And if the kids get dirty, it’s no problem, because there’s a convenient outdoor shower.
Especially on weekends, the Elbe camp is a good destination for the whole family. There is often live music in the evenings. Listen to the music, drink a beer and the kids play happily in the sand – that’s the vacation feeling!
If you want to go to the Elbe camp for more than just a day trip with your kids, you could also camp there for the weekend. Then the adventure takes on a whole new dimension.
When approaching the camp, it is important to drive along the Wittenberger Straße. It is best to enter it in the navigation system as an intermediate destination, because otherwise it can happen that you are led into a dead end. Parking spaces are located outside the Elbe camp and are signposted. From there, however, it is still a short walk.
