Sustainability is very important here: The kitchen relies on organic products, slow food and self-collected wild herbs from the area. A highlight is the seasonally changing menu, which reflects the variety and fulness of each season.

Most of the furniture comes from German manufacturers, and all the craft businesses involved in the renovation of the hotel come from the region. The city Meersburg is also worth a visit. This charming city offers with the Burg Meersburg an insight into the mediaeval history of the region. After a tour of the castle, you can stroll through the picturesque alleys and enjoy the flair of this historic city.

This beautiful zoo offers the opportunity to observe and even feed Berber monkeys in the wild. A little further away but no less entertaining is the Hutmuseum Lindenberg. Here the topic of headgear is told with humour and a lot of fun – especially when trying out the entire hat collection in such a way that the museum visit will remain in the memory of the children for a long time.
