Excursion tips in Dusseldorf with kids
In Duesseldorf you can take great family excursion trips in to the nature. The wildlife park in the Grafenberg Forest is a great destination for this. The children are thrilled with all the animals that can be seen. There is also a part where they can be fed and caressed. The whole time you go through the beautiful Grafenberg forest. If the kids are not tired of it, you can still make an extended stop on the playground. All around you can have a good picnic on benches and in the meadow.
If you are looking for animals rather than in the north of Dusseldorf, you should visit the petting zoo in the south park. Goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs, rabbits and even more can be seen up close.
If you are planning a cultural family trip in Dusseldorf with a child, you should drive to Benrather Castle. Both the castle and the castle park are beautiful. To visit the castle various family and children’s tours are offered. But even those who only examine the castle from the outside can have a lot of fun with their children. Children are given their own pizza dough and the necessary tools, such as a rolling pin, and then they can set themselves up to make a pizza dough. This works especially well on the children’s table and in the small children’s kitchen corner. All pizzas can also be ordered in children’s size.
A great café for breakfast in Düsseldorf with a child is the Café A.nni. For children there is a small play area with nice toys and books to look at. In the meantime, parents enjoy an individually prepared breakfast or a delicious coffee.
At Chrystall am Fürstenplatz, a visit to the café can be combined with a visit to the eponymous shop next door. The Chrystall Café has a book box for the children. And just opposite on the Fürstenplatz is a large playground.
