Enjoying with the family the view over Dusseldorf goes very well from the Rhine Tower. Centrally located between Media Harbor and Dusseldorf’s Old Town, the Rhine Tower offers a fantastic view. An elevator brings you quickly to the top. Once at the top, the floor-to-ceiling windows open up the view of the city. One should not have any fear of heights, because the kids love to lean against the windows. As a parent you have to take a deep breath. In order to answer all the children’s questions about what is something, the label on the glass helps you to see which landmark you are looking for.
It is recommended to arrive early. Before 11 am you benefit from the Early bird tariff and pay nearly the half of the regular price. Kids younger than six years are free of charge. If you are traveling in Düsseldorf with a child, you should definitely not miss the view. An elevator brings a fast up.
We do not stay for lunch at the Rhine Tower, but can warmly recommend the KIT in good weather. There are many tables outside with enough space for strollers. Right in front of the meadow are some playground equipment for the kids and there is also a boule track. While watching the kids play, you can see the Rhine behind them. Gorgeous!
