Kunst und Spiel is our first address when it comes to playing, crafting or reading for the kids. In the middle of Leopoldstraße, the children’s store already has a tradition in Munich. At first, the store was somewhat hidden and accessible via the backyard and was a real secret address. In the meantime, the store has been enlarged to face the street. So you can’t miss it anymore.
Our children love Kunst und Spiel! As soon as a birthday invitation flutters into the house or we start a new craft project, our way leads directly to the most beautiful children’s store in Munich. On three floors you can find everything a child’s heart desires. Craft items such as origami, various coloring paints, beads, cards and also selected toys from small brands have their well-deserved place in Kunst und Spiel. The focus is on toys made from natural materials.

Since the opening more than 60 years ago, the assortment has focused on educationally valuable and ecological toys. This is not only great for us parents, but also for the children. Because at Kunst und Spiel you can find such special treasures. Even we as parents are thrilled every time we visit the store to see the creative handicrafts and toys. We were really happy when we discovered our favorite brand Djeco from France. The craft sets are a big hit at every children’s birthday party.
