Restaurant for families in the former Orangery!
The family-friendly restaurant Plamenhaus is located in the former Orangery right in the center of Vienna. Due to the past of the building, you can not admire only the beautiful interior but also some exotic plants. The entire ambience is very bright and inviting due to the high glass ceilings.
The service is incredibly friendly. You find crayons for your kids to paint as well as kids’ cutlery on the table right away.
The food tastes good! The grilled eggplant with couscous was very good. Good to know is that all dishes are also served in smaller portions. This is especially important for the huge Wiener Schnitzel! 😉
The Burggarten (a small park), next to the palm house, is perfect for kids to play. Older children can already play there, while the parents still enjoy a coffee on the terrace. For a visit to Vienna with child, the Palmenhaus is an excellent choice!
