A trip into the past of Burgenland!
Have you ever wanted to step back in time and explore the fascinating history of a place? Well, now you can! Hidden among the fruit trees of Bad Tatzmannsdorf in southern Burgenland are some very special witnesses to the past. They’re waiting to take you on an amazing journey into the region’s history! From cosy residential buildings to stables, an old goldsmith’s shop and a beautiful dovecote, the past really does come to life here!
It’s a really fun visit, so it’s perfect for families with children. As if all that wasn’t enough, there are also loads of amazing everyday objects from the past to admire. They show us what life was like without electricity and technology, and it’s really fascinating to see how people lived all those years ago! Right next to the museum, you’ll find the Arkadenheurige, a lovely spot to take a break. In the beautiful courtyard, you can enjoy delicious, home-cooked food from southern Burgenland. The dishes served by the local farmers and winemakers here are simply delicious!
