Mexico’s wine producers are gaining more and more international recognition. The winery De Cote exists already since 1970 and counts with 2000 height meters to one of the highest located in the world.

A tour through the vineyards, the Cave and a wine tasting accompanied by a professional sommelier is well worth it.

Afterwards the wide countryside invites to a picnic. Tables and benches are set up on a large lawn surrounded by vine and shady trees. Of course, the classic picnic blanket is also available, which the kids like especially. The dishes on the picnic menu range from pizza to cheese platters, salads or Spanish patatas bravas. Coffee and desserts are also served, as well as the fine wine from the winery.

Meanwhile, the kids have fun in nature. The whole atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and a great place for families.

A fine restaurant is also part of the winery. There, Adán Flores Sánchez, who has previously worked in Mexico’s most famous cuisines, cooks and creates exquisite dishes.
