In summer, the Jenner is transformed into an amazing family adventure! The gondola ride to the middle station is an absolute delight for the little ones, with a huge adventure playground for climbing and romping around. From here, you can explore numerous child-friendly hiking trails that wind through the picturesque landscape. There’s a tour to suit every walking ability and skill level! If there hadn’t been snow during our visit, we would have opted for the hike to the Königsbachalm. Imagine it! We would have enjoyed some good food at the hut and then looked for marmots in the surrounding meadows. They usually hide in their burrows during the day, but sometimes you can see their heads peeking out!

And there’s another amazing experience at the top of the mountain station that you won’t want to miss! The cosy Jenneralm is the perfect place to unwind and take in the incredible mountain views – and what better way to do that than with a delicious helping of Kaiserschmarrn? Kids will love the mountain playground and interactive exhibition where they can feel the soft snow hare fur and learn all about the amazing animals that live in this high alpine landscape in a fun way!

With the See-Gipfel-Ticket, you can save a lot with kids under 6 years of age. And the best part is, you only pay 49.00 Euro for the ship and gondola! You can only buy the combined ticket immediately before your trip at the Königssee shipping office on the Seelände Königssee. Ask for advice on the spot about the most cost-effective option for your family. There is also a family ticket.
