The quiet stretch of beach is half an hour from Pisa and Lucca and is ideal for a spontaneous day trip in Tuscany with children. The path leads through a dense forest that reminded our kids of the jungle. Soon you will reach the covered parking lots of the beach complex.
Through the restaurant you get to the beach. There are beach chairs under gazebos. As a family you can rent a complete gazebo for a fixed price. As a cost-effective option, you can bring your own blanket and umbrella. While relaxing on the beach chair or cooling off in the water, you always have a great mountain view in the background.
For children the beach is optimal. The water runs flat and many mussels are in the sand. In the back of the beach there is a small playground. With slide and swing it offers a good change to the beach. Right next to the playground is a small beach bar, where you can get drinks and quick food.
For a delicious lunch, the restaurant is recommended. There you sit in the shadow and enjoy pasta and seafood. For children, the kitchen is happy to conjure up an extra pasta that will delight every kid.
