UNTERE ASTENALM
Ideal for a small family hike!
The lower Astenalm is a quaint stone hut and is located in Böckstein at 1208m, not far away from Sport Gastein. On foot, the relatively flat path to easy loosely for each family member. After about 25 minutes of leisurely hike you will reach the lower Astenalm.
There is a lot for children. A petting zoo and a children’s playground ensure good mood and enough entertainment for the children.
Meanwhile, parents can be pampered by Heidi’s fabulous cuisine. Homemade delicacies, cheese, bacon bread, apple juice and are specially conjured in the kitchen and taste the same – namely fresh and delicious! Who has a special meal request may also like to pass on to Heidi in advance.
By the way, the parking lot after the Hotel Evianquelle is free for all hikers!
The hike across the promenade of Bad Gastein is a bit longer. This can also be great as a mountain bike tour use.
