The small Staffelsee loop with panoramic views and numerous picnic spots!
The small Staffelsee loop is ideally suited for a hike with children. The trail runs flat for 5 kilometers and is particularly impressive because of the unspoiled landscape, the magnificent mountain panorama in the background and the many play opportunities for children.
The best chance to find a parking space is at the old sports field in Uffing. The hike also starts directly from there. Over gentle meadow slopes and past old oak trees, the hiking trail runs in the direction of Staffelsee. For quite a while you walk along the lake with a fantastic view of the alpine landscape in the background. For us, reason enough to unpack the picnic and enjoy the relaxing time at the lake. The kids have a blast playing by the water and exploring the numerous secret passages in the bushes of the moor area.
By the way, try jumping on the boggy ground while hiking with kids. The kids will be thrilled to see how violently the earth shakes. If the weather is good, be sure to bring your swimsuit and take a dip in the lake.
The trail continues through the moorland past the lido and the campground. From there it goes over a bridge back to the parking lot. If you’re still hungry, you should definitely stop by at LIDO Beach for a burger or a tasty drink.
