The People Behind It
We are Carina and José, the founders of The Urban Kids. We started it in 2017 because we were looking for inspiring ideas for holidays and outings with kids ourselves.
That search became the starting point for The Urban Kids, a digital address book filled with carefully selected places for families who want to enjoy their time together just as much as we do. And we do not only think about the kids. We also include thoughtful recommendations for wine and culinary experiences that parents will enjoy.
A Commitment to Sustainable Travel and Environmental Awareness
Did you know that the largest share of a holiday’s CO₂ footprint usually comes from the journey itself? We have made it our goal to use resources more mindfully and to travel in a responsible way. Instead of always traveling far away, there are so many wonderful places to discover close to home.
