Just a few kilometers from Lake Garda, in the mountains above Valpolicella, lies the medieval village of Molina. It is known for the water source that already 400 years ago operated a whole 17 mills. The mill di Veraghi is still in operation today. Although the amount of grain has shrunk considerably in recent years, the mill shows in an amazing way how sophisticated the historic structure is.

Now, the newly opened B&B allows guests to stay in the house above the mill. Surrounded by wonderful nature and away from any hustle and bustle, families will find plenty of peace and quiet in the 5 newly renovated rooms. Only the narrow brook splashes merrily before itself.

Between old stone walls and pieces of furniture from the past you will find modern accents. In the morning, an Italian breakfast awaits, which tastes best on the terrace overlooking the gigantic mill wheel. There the children also have the best playground, namely the little stream “Vajo”.  The runs the mill and its source rises just a few meters from the house. The current owner Agustino takes all guests on a tour through the property and shows step by step how the mill starts moving. That leaves even the kids’ mouths agape.
