Discover nature and animals all together!
In the south of Berlin, you can visit an old knight’s castle called Domain Dahlem, a large organic farm. On the extensive meadows, children can walk around freely and explore nature.
Horses, sheep, cattle, pigs and chickens have their home at Domain Dahlem, which also is an open-air museum. The mission of the organic farm is to show visitors the process of food production and explains in a detailed exhibition where our food comes from.
The restaurant on the farm is called “Landgasthof Domäne Dahlem” and serve its guests with certified organic food. The museum also has a Café where you can order hot drinks.
There are events taking place all year, such as lectures about bees, a “Grandparent-Grandson-Sunday” or children’s leisure activities. For the exact dates visit the website linked below.
In the farm shop, you can buy fresh food directly from the farm or stock up for a picnic in nature.
