JAGD- UND FISCHEREIMUSEUM WITH KIDS IN MUNICH

Hunting and fishing museum – nice museum for kids in downtown munich!

The best insider tip in the center of Munich is certainly the hunting and fishing museum called Jagd- und Fischereimuseum. It is not only in the middle of Munich city center, but also offers the perfect contrast program to the otherwise hectic city center (at least who is on tour with kids knows what we are talking about).

On the first floor you will find a great exhibition of various regional animals that are really deceptively displayed behind the large glass fronts. There is also a fox burrow for children to discover in which they walk through a dark corridor and can with stuffed foxes. A small snack cottage and plenty of seating provide a relaxing visit. Especially interesting are the interactive games for children, how to feel different grains and to assign the feed to the respective animals.

In the former Gothic basilica also a trailing underwater world has found its place. It offers many highlights and play opportunities for children such as a sunken ship or an underwater cave just waiting to explore.

Continue with the exhibition of old fishing equipment and hunting equipment. This is not so interesting for children, but the parents can admire the beautiful architecture of the gothic basilica by the way. These include high ceilings, lots of stucco and even more light.
