Experience animals and nature with the whole family!
Bergtierpark Blindham in Aying is a discovery and play paradise for the whole family.
The circuit through the park is about 2 km long and it is stroller friendly. You can also rent a cart for 3 EUR there. The path leads past animal enclosures, biotopes and playgrounds.
In the petting zoo kids can touch and feed sheeps. In the other enclosures there are horses, wild boars, beavers, deer and many more.
Along the path kids find a lot of interesting things to play with, such as a fence phone or a forest xylophone. Furthermore, boards explain interesting facts about nature to kids.
At the beginning or the end (depending on which side you begin the tour) there is an adventure playground, which really has everything to offer! Trampolines, swings, slides, sandpit and, above all, a lot of green space!
Parents can sit next to the playground and there are tables and benches close by. We love the barbecue areas, which you can find all over the park. They are free to use, but you have to bring your own barbecue equipment.
Of course, there is also a Park Café from where you have a magnificent view of the alps.
Even on rainy days, the mountain zoo is worth a visit!
There is a converted farm where you have a huge indoor-playground. Here kids will find a sandpit, hanging slides, swings and slides.
Parents can relax in a lounge with an alpine panorama.
Tip: No shoes are allowed for adults or kids in the indoor area. So bring good socks. In winter it can also be cold in the indoor area. So don’t forget warm clothes.
